Board changes

AGA Rangemaster Group plc (the "Company"), the consumer brands group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jonathan Carling as an independent Non-Executive Director.  Jon Carling is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Aston Martin Lagonda Limited and prior to that he held senior engineering positions with Jaguar Cars Limited.  There is no further information to be disclosed in respect of Jon Carling under paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules.  

John Coleman, Non Executive Chairman of AGA Rangemaster Group, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Jon Carling to the AGA Rangemaster Board. He has extensive manufacturing, product development and brand experience and I am confident that he will make a considerable contribution to our Board."

The Company also confirms that in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11 Peter Tom will stand down from the Board with effect from 31st October 2010.  Peter has served as a non-executive director at AGA Rangemaster for six and a half years and he has chaired the Remuneration Committee and has been the Company's Senior Independent Director.

John Coleman commented "The Board and management of AGA Rangemaster Group wish to thank Peter for his valuable contributions to the Group and its development over recent years.  We wish him continuing success as chairman of Leicester Tigers and with Breedon Aggregates."

Following Peter Tom's resignation, Paul Dermody will become the Senior Independent Director and will continue to chair the Audit and Risk Committee and Paul Jackson will chair the Remuneration Committee.
