AGA Rangemaster Group has been named Manufacturing Company of the Year at Insider's inaugural Made in the Midlands Awards held at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry last night. The evening celebrated the very best and most innovative of the region's manufacturers. The criteria for Manufacturing Company of the Year was the company contributing most to further the reputation of the region as a manufacturing hub.
Michael Portillo compered the awards, which also featured a
keynote address from Mike Wright, the executive director of Jaguar
Land Rover.

after Abraham Darby, the Group's founder, triggered the Industrial
