MP visits Rangemaster at Leamington Spa

Warwick and Leamington MP Chris White visited AGA Rangemaster in Leamington last Friday for a tour of the world-renowned manufacturer’s facility.  Mr White met with CEO William McGrath and HR Director Paul Tonks before being led on a tour of the factory, which he highlighted as an example of the town’s industry at its finest in the House of Commons earlier this month.

Speaking after the visit, Mr White said: “I highlighted AGA Rangemaster and other local companies in my maiden speech to show what an opportunity we have in Warwick and Leamington for economic growth and the creation of new jobs locally.  Rangemaster has a fantastic facility, and it is rare to find a company with such a long history that is still, to this day, at the cutting edge of manufacturing and production techniques.”

Mr White continued “I was particularly excited by the enormous amount of energy and investment that they are putting in to Research and Development – resulting in some world-class advances, especially in green technology.  We are lucky to have them in the town.”

Rangemaster CEO William McGrath commented: "We are proud of our manufacturing heritage. As a Leamington based Company we are delighted that the new local MP takes such an active interest in manufacturing and engineering in the area. We look forward to working with him as we develop further the business here in Leamington."
