La Cornue : the French ambassador

On the 23rd of March, the Trade Department of the French Embassy in London presented the second annual French Design Forum and Exhibition with great success. The event was held at the French Ambassador’s residence in the Kensington area of London, and it included an exhibition of work from 22 of France’s most acclaimed manufacturers, artisans and craftsmen. La Cornue was one of the 22 selected exhibitors. La Cornue has been a manufacturer of exceptional kitchen ranges since 1908 when its founder, Albert Dupuy, invented the R#tisseuse-P#tissière. This patented vaulted oven design cooked at an even temperature and uniquely retained the moisture in the food. It was a great success and is the system still used today.
