At the AGM in May 2008 we gained shareholder approval to adopt changes in the law governing electronic communication. This allows the Company to use this website more to communicate with shareholders.
The Board regards this as a positive step for both the Company and shareholders. It will reduce our impact on the environment, minimise waste and reduce costs.
However, shareholders can choose how to receive communications from us, including the Annual Report, financial statements and other company updates. Consultation was sent to you with the Interim Report on 3 September 2008.
All shareholders have been asked to select one of the following options.
Option 1 - Be notified by email that documents are available on the website. To select Option 1 register at www.shareview.co.uk
Option 2 - Be notified by letter that documents are available on the website.
Option 3 - Continue to receive paper documents by post. To select Option 3 please return the form that was attached to your dividend communication.
Option 2 is the default option – if shareholders do not respond and we do not already have their email address, we will write to them advising when information is available on our website.
Notes
1. The Company’s Annual report will normally be available for viewing on our website at least one month before the scheduled AGM each year, which is normally held in May.
2. If shareholders register online for Option 1 they do not need to return the form.
3. If shareholders select Option 2 they need take no action as this is the default option.
4. If shareholders select Option 3 we will send the Annual Report in accordance with previous instructions.
5. Notwithstanding a shareholder’s election, Aga Rangemaster Group plc reserves the right to send any shareholder information in hard copy if it feels appropriate to do so.
6. Notwithstanding a shareholder’s election, shareholders reserve the right as a shareholder to request a copy of the Annual report at any time by phoning our Registrars, Equiniti on 0871 384 2355.
