Top artists are producing new works using Fired Earth materials for Fired Earth`s 20th anniversary touring exhibition in 2004.
Working with the HRH Prince of Wales` Art & Kids initiative and top London gallery, Art First, Fired Earth paint, tiles and fabrics will be used by schoolchildren, emerging artists and Fired Earth`s own artistic staff to create a body of work highlighting the natural quality of Fired Earth products. Events will run in Fired Earth stores throughout 2004 and the tour will culminate next August at the Edinburgh Arts Festival.
Beverley Nielsen, Managing Director of Fired Earth says, "The artists are highlighting the quality of our paint and beauty of our tiles and fabrics. Mixing them with Prince Charles` Arts & Kids Initiative will make Fired Earth`s 20th birthday memorable."
